Our Business

OUR PROCESS

At CASA, we focus on establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial, respectful relationships with all parties. Whether we are discussing settlement options with our consumer customers or portfolio pricing with our creditor partners, we strive to make all communications clear and transparent. With our consumer customers: We listen to the specific needs and financial abilities of our customers to create solutions that are affordable, achievable and realistic. With our seller partners: We keep things simple and straightforward with a constant focus on closing the transaction. Whether it’s keeping our data requests in due diligence to the very minimum or patiently walking a first time debt seller through the pre- and post-sale process, CASA drives transactions to a successful outcome by giving you the time and attention you need while avoiding wasting your time.

OUR MARKETS

CASA maintains a diversified portfolio across multiple asset classes, but our specialization lies in industries that benefit from a more “hands-on”, analytical approach and a more complex or “involved” liquidation strategy. Examples include…
  • The mortgage industry, where a complete and thorough understanding of the nuances of property liens, foreclosure law, title conveyance, anti-deficiency laws and related are critical to success;
  • The education loan industry, where the challenges of navigating consumer affordability collide with a rapidly changing and turbulent political environment
  • The auto loan industry, where the challenge and “chase” of locating the asset is only one of many recovery sources that must be thoroughly explored to maximize returns.
  • Specialty lending industries, such as watercraft, aircraft, recreational vehicles and commercial accounts, where debt balances are high, recoveries are complex and expertise is key.

OUR COMPLIANCE

CASA is committed to compliance, both in our conduct with our consumer customers and in our overall adherence to state and federal laws and regulations. We realize that policies and procedures on their own won’t ensure compliance. That’s why we encourage all employees to achieve the designation of Professional Collection Specialist® (PCS) through ACA International, a leading trade association in the accounts receivable management industry. Additionally, all management level employees are encouraged to achieve the designation of Credit and Collection Compliance Professional® (CCCP) through ACA International. When it comes to compliance at CASA, you won’t hear our team using the excuse of “I didn’t know”. For more information on ACA International and its certification programs, click here.
